Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrestling Cauliflower Ears I have cauliflower ears from wrestling and MMA fighting. The earbuds with it varing sizes makes it easy fit for us with cool cauliflower ears! Fear the ear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Office Headphones These are great for use at your desk. They sound good and are comfortable for extended use. I particularly like that the mounting style allows me to fit the bud snug in my ear to isolate exterior noise or leave it loose so that I can still hear what is happening around me. Battery life is good for this style headphone, usually 6-8 hours of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best earbuds yet. I just bought them yesterday and directly updated them with the new fw. Best sounding work out earbuds with nice bass and mids. Perfect for all genres of music.

After power music player stop in 10 - 15 min. my everest 100 auto-off. Can i set form alway on?

Asked by: Jutirat Tokul
It is possible that what you are experiencing is due to the EVEREST 100 power saving feature. It is auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected for approximately 10 minutes. So, if you have the volume on the EVEREST 100 cranked up, and the volume on your source device set really low, it is very possible that the EVEREST 100 is not seeing enough of an audio signal to know to stay on. Please try turning the volume on the EVEREST 100 down a bit, and then crank up the volume on your source device to get to the level you desire. This will send a hotter signal to the EVEREST 100 and it should stay on without any issues.

My headphones won't charge

Asked by: ldsrdh
To isolate the issue that you are experiencing with your EVEREST 100, please try to use a different micro-USB charging cable and/or an alternate power supply. If the unit still does not charge, please submit a case at JBL.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

I purchased the Everest 100 a few months ago. Yesterday they wouldn't power on, I assumed the battery was dead, but after a full charge last night, they again wouldn't power on, or show any indication (light). Is there a hard reset? Or are they defective?

Asked by: joningalls
There are no hard resets for the EVEREST 100 and it is possible that it has developed a fault. To isolate the issue, please use a different charging cable or an alternate power source. If you are still having issues, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

Can they connect to mac laptop?

Asked by: Sociologist
Certainly. As long as your computer is capable of streaming audio via Bluetooth and its Bluetooth driver supports A2DP Audio codec, the EVEREST 100 should work without any issue. Clear the audio preference cache on our Mac Book and you may want to download and reinstall the latest Bluetooth driver from your computer's manufacturer support website.

Hi, how could I avoid the latency on videos? it's very annoying actually.

Asked by: baryt
A new HID tool has been released for the EVEREST 100. This update improves the lip-sync issue that has been reported. The tool can be found on this page - https://www.jbl.com/support-product.html#everest Click on “View Support” on the Everest 100, then select Software Updates. Once the tool is downloaded along with the software update, you will find a PDF file which contains detailed instructions on how to use the update tool. Important Note: At this time, you should download the software to a Windows PC only, MAC is currently not supported.

When charging, the red light blinks instead of being solid and the earphones won't turn on.

Asked by: Anni
A blinking red light on the EVEREST 100 means that the unit is running on low battery. To isolate the issue, please try to use a different charging cable or an alternative power source. If you are still having issues, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

I would like to update the firmware because of the audio lag while watching video. However, I only have Mac computers that do not have access to run Windows. Do you have any other solutions for updating or are you aware of a forthcoming Mac version?

Asked by: otooletime
The upgrades file that needs to be downloaded (http://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-headphones/EVEREST+100.html?dwvar_EVEREST%20100_color=Black#start=1) for the EVEREST 100 can only be updated on a Windows PC as of currently. Unfortunately, there is no way as of currently to update the EVEREST 100 on a Mac.

Tried connecting on wife's computer to hear audio using a Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth adapter. Range was about 4' before static and crackling. Then paired with my laptop that has built-in Bluetooth. Range was maybe 5'. Is this normal? If so, totally unusable

Asked by: mgeorge17
This is not normal. The nominal Bluetooth range of our devices is 10 meters (32 feet). Please understand though that this is in a perfect set-up where there are no interferences. One common issue with connecting Bluetooth speakers to laptops is a WiFi network interfering with it. If you are connected to WiFi, please disconnect temporarily and see if the Bluetooth connection improves with the EVEREST 100.
