Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome earbuds I bought these earbuds a week ago and I'm extremely happy with them. Excellent bass without sacrificing clarity. They are more comfortable and have better sound than my S400BT. The cable retention clip is excellent for keeping them around your neck during rest. Although the 10 minute auto-off period is a little annoying. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants a high quality, audiophile worthy pair of headphones without breaking the bank.

I updated the firmware via this site and that fixed the latency issue. They're lightweight and very comfortable. Thanks for making a great pair of bluetooth earbuds, JBL. I've tried them all and finally found the best of 2016.

Literally I just came back from a store just return a Jaybird X2 very disappointed about the item, in exchange I got this one got in my car pair with my s7 edge phone one thing I notice right away when I put it on it almost like I had it order specificly for the size of my ears it fits perfectly, compare to the one that I returned which I tried all the different sizes of the ear tips including the kind that one that supposed you stay in your ear none of it works for me, so I'm so happy about this purchase. Let's talk about the sound is phenomenal. I'm thinking about getting The Elite version when it comes out.

I don't know why all these bad reviews because these are actually great product. I love JBL products I basically own all Bluetooth speakers they have ever come out with and now these earbuds. Good sound and bass!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wireless is best! Glad I read reviews I bought thsee headphones about a month ago and they are great! The only downside is there was a lag between my phone and these headphones. Glad I read the reviews to update the firmware from this site as the update fixed the lag completely! Would recommend, just ensure you update the firmware as it comes with a previous version. Bass is ok, better than most, however not as good as other jbl headphones. Mids and Highs are fantastic and love having the ability to walk down the hall and leave my device in my office.

Can I change the battery on my Everest 100 wireless headset? Can the battery be changed at all?

The battery is non-user serviceable which means that the battery cannot be replaced. If you're having issue with the EVEREST 100, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/contactus and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to assist you.

When I hold the power button to turn my JBL Everst 100's off, the audible voice says 2 0. Can anyone tell me what this means?

This is the Everest 100’s firmware version. To have the Everest 100 switched OFF. Just press the POWER button for 5 seconds.

How to disable auto-off function? It is too annoying...

Unfortunately we cannot switch the auto-off function. This is the device’s power energy saving feature the earphones will automatically switch OFF once no audio is detected from the device.

I have iphone 6 plus which has bluetooth 4 but the everest 100 in 4.1 ....does it match with my phone or not ?

Yes, This would work with your Iphone 6+ just fine. It would still be compatible. The difference with having a device that has a Bluetooth 4.1 connected to the EVEREST 100 which has the same Bluetooth version, Is a much more stable connection which provides clearer audio when using the microphone.

multipoint is turning off the earphones - listening to video on laptop; call comes in from paired iphone; hang up the call and earphones switch off (status shows not connected to either laptop or iphone). Anyone seen this?

The multi function button does allow you to answer phone calls when you have your mobile phone paired to it. Unfortunately the Bluetooth connection will not switch back to its current connection once you disconnect the call.

The Bluetooth profile of the EVEREST 100 which is 4.1 is backwards compatible, which means it would work with a device which has a lower bluetooth profile.

Hello, I tried my best to find firmware from this webpage due to bluetooth latency issue. But there's no firmware on this webpage. Some people said that they can download firmware from Manuals & downloads but now there's a quick guide only.

The tool can be found at this link. Click on HID Software to download. Once the tool is downloaded along with the software update, you will find a PDF file which contains detailed instructions on how to use the update tool. At this time, you should download the software to a Windows PC only, MAC is currently not supported. http://www.jbl.com/everest-support.html
